KLEO GLENS

The jewelry project KLEO GLENS was created based on clear creative needs and thorough planning. This collection is characterized by the design of essential geometric shapes, decorated with a variety of original patterns.

PSYKO RAM COLLECTION

"My artistic sensibility is attracted to what is invisible in technology: motherboards, circuits, plugs, slots, and sockets. They define in detail the entire contemporary society. They become its icons. From a conceptual point of view, my “po-ethics” is based on the memory function contained in the circuits. My works feature various hardware components, but the motherboard plays a leading role: with my creations, I pay homage to this hi-tech object by reimagining it in the graphic designs I apply to metal surfaces. The geometric shapes that carry the graphic applications are reminiscent of the simplicity of the constitutive elements of this hardware.

The goal of my art is to create a link between the material past and the virtual future, to create a bridge of interconnections."- Sara, Kle Glens' Head Designer

THE STRUCTURE

The technical quality of the jewelry line KLEO GLENS is characterized by the manual processing, the fretwork on aluminum sheets, and the subsequent handcrafted finishes. Craftsmanship is at the heart of the production process. The choice of materials is influenced by the desire to produce metal jewelry using antique jewelry-making techniques. Aluminum has proven to be the best choice. The lightness of this metal has allowed me to create a distinctive and unique aspect of my design: the overlapping of aluminum sheets joined together with 925 silver-plated pivots.

KEUM-BOO

This Korean gilding technique was developed to apply 24-karat gold to silver objects. Pressure welding takes advantage of the chemical properties of pure gold. At a certain temperature, the gold foil begins to allow oxygen atoms through. The gold passes through the oxygen and, thanks to the lack of pressure, adheres precisely to the metal, creating a permanent bond between the two metals.

"I've experimented with this technique on aluminum and have had amazing results in terms of accuracy. Personally, I like to produce gold foils with a thickness of only a few microns using the hand-rolling mill" - Sara, Kleo Glens' Head Designer
